4 year old, 4 pound Yorkie, Rascal, was saved from a puppy mill, but due to abuse and neglect, he came into rescue with his entire lower jaw missing. He has had to have surgery to try to provide some way for his mouth to stay closed, and recently he began coughing up blood so has had to have an ultrasound to determine what is causing it. NBSTR is awaiting those results. Rascal's care for his jaw and diagnostics has been about $1,100.
